ESK-SiC is used as filler for heavy-load surfaces and when high abrasive resistance is required, to achieve improved anti-slip properties and long service lifetimes. Furthermore, its high electrical conductivity is used for dissipating static. It is used, for instance, as an additive in coverings for clean rooms, canteen kitchens, drilling rigs, industrial flooring, steps and other abrasion-resistant coatings and paints.
